FAQs
Is Canggu, Bali Good For Kids?
Yes! Canggu, Bali is great for kids. In fact, all of Bali is very child-friendly.
You will find that the locals here are super welcoming to children of all ages and they will often make a real fuss of the littlest ones.
The majority of businesses on the island are set up for families and you should find it very easy to have a meal as a family or to find activities that you can do as a family.
Many of the hotels also run their own private kids’ club facilities which can ensure that your children have a ton of fun during the day while you attend to your tan and get some well-deserved rest.
Which Parts Of Bali Are Kid Friendly?
All of Bali is child-friendly. With the exception of a few resorts, some nightlife areas and beach clubs which are adults-only affairs, you will find that kids are welcome all over the island.
There are plenty of things to do with kids in Canggu and further afield. As much of the island’s industry is tourism-based, children will never be bored in Bali.
Are Kids Allowed In FINNS Beach Club?
As we go to press, children are allowed into FINNS Beach Club as long as they are accompanied by their parents and are kept under supervision at all times.
However, we must note that starting in April 2025, FINNS Beach Club will become an adults-only beach club and after that, children aged 16 years or under will not be allowed onto the premises.
While we always recommend FINNS Beach Club as one of the most fun things to do on the island, it’s fair to say that this party-oriented venue is not the ideal place to spend a family holiday and younger children might be uncomfortable around adults who are consuming a lot of alcohol.
Is Bali Worth Visiting With Kids?
Kids love Bali. The South Coast by the Indian Ocean always has plenty of things for children to do and you can enjoy family fun all over Canggu, Seminyak, Kuta, Jimbaran, Legian, etc.
If you stay in one of the resort towns (it doesn’t need to be in luxury suites) you can find a great range of things to do within walking distance of your hotel.
Bali with kids is always great whether you come in the rainy season or the dry season, and there are usually plenty of other kids around for your children to make friends with.
