We’re biased, but we think that Canggu has the best sunset spots on the island, but that’s because it’s in an ideal position on the coast to enjoy fabulous sunset views over the ocean. This is also true of Seminyak, Kuta, Legian, Jimbaran and Uluwatu as they too are on the same stretch of coastline.
However, other popular beach towns like Nusa Dua and Sanur do not have any sunset spots for you to enjoy, as they are on the wrong side of the island. If you want to enjoy the sun over the beach in spectacular fashion in those areas, you’ll need to get up bright and early and aim for the sunrise instead.

We think the best street in Canggu is Jalan Pantai Berawa, it’s the road to Berawa Beach, and it has lots of places to shop, eat and drink on it, and it leads to FINNS Beach Club.
It’s a busy area, but it’s not as busy as Jalan Pantai Batu Bolong, which is the main Canggu Beach road, and it gets pretty hectic, particularly around sunset.
